Nearby co-founders, Petr and Adam visited each other quite frequently for a coffee and chat. While it was always time well spent, there was an annoying problem whenever going by car: finding a parking spot. However, when they entered the underground parking below the building, the majority of private spaces there were empty. Interestingly, they found out that many companies (including the one they worked for back then) had the same problem with parking. This is when they thought: "There must be a better way...", and the journey began...

After first discussions with companies, they found out it is not only the parking that has low capacity and high demand - many things can be shared in each office. However, the process for reservations and sharing at that point in time was either non-existent are extremely painful. Peter and Adam were soon joined by another Adam, who stepped into the role of CTO and helped to create the first versions of Nearby. And since then, the journey continues...
